Elder Veronica Lorraine Bryant was born to the late Bishop Catherine Phillips Bryant and Arthur Bryant. She was affectionately known as “Ronnie” to family and friends. Born in Brooklyn, she was a true New Yorker who never lost her accent or pride in her roots. After moving to SC in 1980, she graduated from Hartsville High School in 1981 and went on to attend Florence-Darlington Technical College where she received an Associate of Secretary of Science Degree.
Veronica was a bright light and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Bryant, brother Brannon Bryant, father Arthur Bryant, and mother Bishop Catherine Bryant. Living to cherish her memories are: her children, Catherine L. Bryant of Columbia, SC; Amos McRaven of Durham, NC; Quantaysha (Willie) Johnson of Hartsville, SC; Lorrisha McRaven of Durham, NC; her brother Minister Sterling (Lumisha) Bryant of Newport News, Va; one sister Elder Petitia Caine of Hartsville, SC; two grandchildren Angel Bolden and Xyaria McRaven, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
