Funeral service for HN.Christian David Ross will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 3,2010 at Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Burial with full military rites will be in Florence National Cemetery directed Young & Young Funeral Home of Hartsville.
The Family will receive friends at Harold L. & Dorothy J. Young Memorial Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday March 2,2010.
Christian David Ross was the loving son of Curtis C. Ross,Jr and Penny Ann Davis Boyce. He was born August 18,1990 in Darlington County. He departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 24,2010. He was educated in the public schools of the county and was a 2008 graduate of Hartsville High School.
Because Christian was in a Christian home, he realized the need to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At an early age, he confessed and became a member of Mt. Olive Holiness Church in Hartsville,SC. He enjoyed the preaching, singing and the overall fellowship.
After graduating from high school, Christian joined The U.S. Navy. He served our country with distinction. As a corpsman his rank was HN (3). Because he desired to excel he received numerous honors such as Blue Jacket, Service medal, Core School graduating with Division 332. He was also affiliated with Navy Football, Navy Choir and soccer. He loved to sing and dance.
Christian was united in holy matrimony with Jessica Nichole only a few months ago.
Christian was a friendly person. He enjoyed being around people of all walks of life. He touched the lives of all he met and will be missed by many.

Ross of Charlotte, NC; his wife, Jessica Nichole Ross of Goose Creek, SC; siblings (YNSR), Rosa Maria Alexis Ross of Virginia Beach, VA, Mazorine Sharia Boyce of Hartsville, SC, Rashonda Goodson of Darlington, SC, Vanessa James of Greensboro, NC, Joshua Joel (Brandy) Davis of St. Mary, Georgia, Christopher Fuqua of Huntsville, Alabama, Kawani Ross of Baton Rouge, LA; god-sister, Kassie Gainey of Hartsville,SC; paternal grandmother, Mary Echols Greensboro, NC; grandfather, Bishop Curtis C. Ross of New York;maternal grandparents, Lee Ernest and Betty Jean Washington of Hartsville, SC; great grandmother, Edith Workman of New York; spiritual grandmother, Lucille Mumford of Hartsville, SC; god-mother, Suzanne Boyce of Florence,SC; four nephews; two nieces; in-laws, Stan (Sue) Spraggon of Newark, Illinois; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends.
