Our beloved Stacey Arnetta Franklin was welcomed home on March 5, 2010. She was welcome by our heavenly father in the mansion prepared for her from the foundations of the foundations of the earth by an all wise, loving and just God.
Stacey Arnetta Frankin was born November 25, 1962 in Darlington County. She was the daughter of Christine V. Franklin and the late Carey Lee Franklin, Sr. She was educated in the public schools of the county and was a 1981 graduate of Butler High School.
She grew up in a Christian home. At an early age she joined Mt. Calvary AME Church. In 2003, she joined Nazareth Apostolic Church, received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. At Nazareth, she was a helper working with the Usher Board and in the kitchen. She volunteered at the Elohim Outreach Center. She was also a fundraiser for the Martin Luther King Celebration.
Stacey enjoyed working and being a productive citizen. Her first job was at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Later she worked at Yogi Bear Chicken and as a manager at the Wash Tud Laundry. She was an asset every where she wored. She was an inspiration to all she met.
Stacey was a happy and loving young lady. She was known for being a great dresser. She took pride in making a statement concerning her attire. Her hats, suits, shoes always matched.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Those to cherish her memories are:
