Antoniette Beoveny Clair, affectionally known as “Toni”, fell is the first of four children born to the late Robert Clair and Marsha D. Clair on April 14, 1958 in Hartsville, South Carolina. Toni was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1976 and continued her education at Benedict College. In 1980 she moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina with her former husband Ronnie
Robinson. Toni later moved to Durham, North Carolina where she began working for the State at The Whitaker School PRFT as a Youth Program/Education Assistant II. She had a great passion for working with the mentally ill and handicapped. Toni was a member of Bethel Family Worship Center in Durham, NC.
Surviving to cherish Toni’s memories are her children. Kenyatta D. Robinson, Wilmington, NC and daughters, Carmen M. Robinson, Hartsville, SC and Kristen B. Clair, Durham, NC; five
grandchildren, whom she loved dearly: Marianna L. Robinson, Sycaria L. Nicholson, Sy’naiyah M. Nicholson, Kanese R. Robinson-Munn and Kaiden D. Billings. In addition, she leaves
to mourn two siblings: Anita B. Clair of Loganville, GA and Robert L. Clair (Sonda) of Hartsville, SC. Four Aunts: Aleathea Clair, Poughkeepsie, NY; Hattie D. Hughes, Hartsville, SC;
Leatrice (Alfred) Taylor, Darlington, SC; Catherine D. Harrell, Hartsville, SC. Two Uncles: Arthur (Josie) Douglas Jr., Florence, SC and David (Vernell) Douglas, Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives and beloved friends.
