Hazel Nick Arthur, Jr.

December 1, 1944 ~ September 27, 2018 (age 73)

Hazel Arthur Jr., better known as Nick, he was born December 01, 1944, to Mrs. Lue Anna Arthur and the late Mr. Hazel Arthur Sr. Hazel graduated from Butler High School, Class of 1963. Three days after graduating he was in the United States Army. He served in South Korea, South Africa, and in South Vietnam. He was wounded and was honorably discharged, for which he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other medals. He was also a part of the Army First Calvary Division. He was employed at Roller Bearing Corporation of Hartsville, SC. for twenty years. 

 
He leaves to cherish his memories, His loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Viola R. Arthur of the home of his loving son, Delmonte (Rachel) Arthur of Hartsville, SC. His loving and devoted grands that wer like his own, Delonta A. Huggins of Columbia, SC., Queen V. Arthur and Shaundel A. Arthur of Hartsville, SC., Klamier Arthur of Richmond, VA. The apples  of his eyes, his great grands, Jania, Alexis, Ra’Shod, Mason, Artis Jr. and Alyssia. His devoted brothers Luke (Jannice Mae) Arthur of Hartsville, SC., Charles Edward Arthur of Lydia, SC., Richard (Lillian) Arthur of Lydia, SC., Clinton (Loretta) Arthur of Lydia, SC., Tom (Rosa) Bell of Hartsville, SC, Charles (Barbra) McFadder of Hughesville, MD., Moses (Mary) Yates
of Sumter, SC. One sister, Elizabeth Durant of Hartsville, SC. Two sisterin- laws, Debra Arthur of Hartsville, SC., and Clemmie Roots of Hartsville, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Hazel Arthur, Sr., his brother, Kirk L. Arthur, and father-in-law James Rodgers.
