Isaiah Wilson, Sr. was born on September 20, 1943 in Bethune, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Spencer and Emma Hart Wilson, Sr. He received his education in the public schools in the area and graduated from a local school and entered into the United States Army. He earned his Associate’s Degree as a Master Barber. He served for over 20 years until retirement. Isaiah was a member of Catoe Chapel as well as the Men’s Choir. During his leisure, he enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Kimberly Wilson (Tony) Polley of Kentucky, Isaiah (Bridgette) Wilson of Arizona, Deloris (Wayne) Williams of North Carolina; Siblings, James “Roy” (Rosi) Wilson of Maryland and Spencer Wilson, Jr. of Hartsville, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives friends.
Isaiah was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Lathan Wilson and two siblings, Bessie Anderson and Louise Wilson.
