Linda F. Malery was born on November 28, 1946 in Hartsville, South Carolina. She was the dear daughter of the late Connie and Cora Pompey Woodham. She received her education in the public schools in the area and was a retired employee of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. Linda was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and worshipped there along with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her husband, William Malery; Five children, Jimmy (Vester) Woodham and Anthony (Jackie) Lawson both of Greenville, SC, Ronald Lawson of Jersey City, NJ, Olivia Lawson of Hartsville, SC and William (Neta) Malery, Jr. of Greenville, SC; Three sisters, Ella (Roy) Shulterbrandt of Hartsville, SC, Shirley Bennett of Darlington, SC and Betty Lee of Jersey City, NJ; Two brothers, Robert (Marsha) Woodham of Jersey City, NJ and Michael (Carolyn) Woodham of Darlington, SC; Five sisters-in-law, Ossie Woodham of Hartsville, SC, Bessie Woodham of Jersey City, NJ, Jessie Woodham of Jersey, NJ, Clementine Mallory of Clearwater, FL and Hattie Bell King of Dawson, GA; Four brothers-in-law, Thomas (Lillie Mae) Mallory Jersey City, NJ, Alphonso (Ann) Mallory of Albany, GA, Lorenzo (Cheryl) of Clearwater, FL and Nathaniel Castleberry of Darlington, SC; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; Special nieces, Lou Doris (Dot) Jones of Hartsville, SC, and Gneka Woodham of Hartsville, SC; a host of many nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Cora Pompey Woodham; One sister, Elizabeth Castleberry; Five brothers, Clifton Woodham Hercules Woodham, Bobby Woodham, Albert Woodham and Ronnie Woodham and one grandson, Anthony Lawson.
